Back in 1998 there was a TV Show called Dawson’s Creek. The show was about two childhood best friends who go through different stages of adolescence together. Their friendship was later tested when they both start a relationship with different people.
Well, we’re NOT talking about that!! Dawsons Creek is a small community in British Columbia, CA which is the starting place of the Alaska Highway. Lots of history here in this place — the highway wasn’t constructed until after the start of WWII (The Big One!)
Tomorrow we set off from Mile Zero to make our way to Ft Nelson on our way to the Alaskan frontier.
It’s been a delight to meet up and become new friends with so many Airstreamers. We met about 52 new people we will be sharing this experience with over the next 60 days. Airstreamers are the most laid back and fun people to be around. They come from all sorts of different walks of life and with so many stories to hear we are sure to have a great time.
