Welcome to a new corner of the blog.

From the very first mile of our travels, faith has ridden along with us. It was there when we prayed for our caravan group by name before we ever met them. It was there in the burned forests along the Alaska Highway, where fireweed — the first thing to grow back after a fire — reminded us that there is beauty in the ashes of devastation. And it was there in the quiet mornings when one of us finally admitted, “I need the quiet for my soul to breathe.”

This blog has always been about leaning into small adventures. But somewhere along the road we realized that the outward journey and the inward one are not two different trips. The same Jesus who formed the braided rivers and the northern lights meets us in campgrounds, in breakdowns, in new friendships, and in rest.

So this space — Spiritual Reflections — is where we’ll slow down and share those quieter thoughts: reflections on grace, rest, renewal, and the Lord’s presence found along the road. The travel posts will keep coming; this is simply the other half of the story.

Whether you share our faith or are just curious, you are welcome here. Pull up a camp chair.

“Life is a series of small adventures; begin now!”
